Introduction: Why a Cube?

  • The Holy of Holies in the Temple was cube-shaped—the place where God dwelt.
  • The New Jerusalem coming down from Heaven is cube-shaped.
  • The Cube illustrates discipleship:
    • Inside Core → The 7 claims of Jesus.
    • Six Sides → 3 Decisions (discipleship steps) + 3 Distractions (opposition).

The Cube’s Structure

  • Nikola Tesla studied patterns of energy, math, and nature—focusing on numbers 3, 6, and 9.
  • Ernő Rubik built on these ideas, creating the cube as a teaching tool for spatial reasoning.
  • Only 1% of people can solve a Rubik’s Cube without a coach.
  • Similarly, only 1% of Christians have a specific plan to make disciples. We need a coach.
  • The Cube is a discipleship tool that shows the Christian life step by step.

The Six Sides of the Cube

Three Decisions

  1. Follow – “Come, follow Me.”
  2. Learn – “And I will teach you.”
  3. Fish – “I will make you fishers of men.”

Three Distractions

  1. The World – Athens.
  2. The Flesh – Alexandria.
  3. The Devil – Babylon.

Each side has nine blocks, representing questions and answers that explain and defend a Biblical worldview (Apologetics = R.E.A.D: Reasons, Evidences, Answers that Defend).

Side 1 – Willing to Follow Jesus

1. Who do we confess as Lord?

  • Romans 10:9 – “If you confess with your mouth… and believe in your heart… you will be saved.”
  • Salvation involves: confession, repentance, belief, and receiving the Spirit.

Paul’s model of faithful disciples:

  • Soldier → Courage
  • Athlete → Conviction
  • Farmer → Competence
  • Disciple → Character

These 4 C’s impact Culture for Christ.

2. What actions did God take?

  • Redeemed us (John 3:16).
  • Died for us (2 Corinthians 5:21).
  • Raised for us (Romans 4:25).
  • Sent His Spirit (Titus 3:5).
  • Justified us (Ephesians 2:8).
  • Adopted us (John 1:12).
  • Sanctifies us (Philippians 1:6).
  • Keeps us (1 John 5:13).

God initiates salvation. We respond in faith.

3. When did God choose us?

  • Foreknew (Romans 8:29).
  • Predestined (Ephesians 1:5).
  • Called (Romans 8:30).
  • Justified (Romans 5:1).
  • Glorified (Romans 8:30).

         chain of salvation:

4. Where am I going?

  • Heaven is our destination (Philippians 3:20).
  • The journey is narrow (Matthew 7:13–14).
  • Pilgrim’s Progress reminds us of our path from destruction to the Celestial City.

5. Why follow Jesus?

  • Because He is Lord, Savior, and Worthy.
  • The path is hard but the reward is eternal.
  • Trials refine us (James 1:2–4).
  • Suffering grows endurance and hope (Romans 5:3–5).

6. How do we follow Him?

  • Put off the old man (Luke 9:23).
  • Walk by the Spirit (Romans 8:13–14).
  • Live daily in prayer and Scripture.
  • Use A.C.T.S. in prayer: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication.
  • Practice the “One Another” Commands: love, unity, service, encouragement, care.
